NASHVILLE , TN March 7, 2009--Grammy nominated, BMI MILLIONAIRE PLAY AWARD winning songwriter Deborah Allen previewed her new song "There's A Last Time For Everything" at the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) last week and received rave reviews from media, fans, and colleagues.

"There's A Last Time For Everything" speaks about the fragility of life and how one should tell everyone in their life how much they care for them while there's still time. "As time goes on and we experience the joys and blessings along with the disappointments and losses in life it gives reason to ponder the reality of just how brief our stay here in this life can be.", says Deborah of the song co-written by longtime Nashville songwriter and friend, Curtis Wright.

Early Friday morning (March 6) Deborah complained of stomach pains which caused her to miss out on a jam-packed day of interviews at CRS. A trip to the hospital revealed that Deborah had a ruptured appendix and needed immediate surgery.

Deborah’s "Rockin' Little Christmas-and-Hits" concert features a mixture of classic Christmas songs and hits from Deborah's storied career as a country music recording artist and songwriter of such hits as "Baby, I Lied," "Rock Me (In The Cradle Of Love)," "Deeper Waters," and "Rockin’ Little Christmas".

About The Reserve
Since its inception 1903, this finely crafted building has been a landmark in the heart of downtown Laurel. At the drawing of the 20th century, through two World Wars and the Great Depression, it was the home of the First National Bank and served as the financial hub of a region rich in timber and oil. For the first time ever, in the fall of 2002, the historic building stood vacant. In 2008, The Reserve once again opened the doors after giving the interior a new look and swagger while preserving the bank's original neoclassical façade.

Monday night, April 7th, Deborah and her close friend and confidant Margie Geddes attended The T.J. Martell Foundation's "Best Cellars" Dinner at the Nashville Lowe's Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel. Also in attendance were Frances W. and David Preston, John and Martina McBride, Joe and Fran Galante, Tony and Anastasia Brown, Dean Shermet and LeAnn Rimes, Lady Antebellum, Kix Brooks, Ronnie and Janine Dunn, Michelle Branch and Teddy Landau, Eddie Montgomery, Troy Gentry, Fletcher Foster, Renee Bell, Dr. Hal Moses, Vince Gill and Amy Grant, Gary Chapman, and many others. Deborah In The Studio

Deborah has been in the studio with legendary Nashville record executive James Stroud, working on a project to help the victims of the tornados in Enterprise, Alabama whose school was destroyed by a tornado in March of 2007. Stroud is producing a compilation album of many great artists such as Clint Black, Lorrie Morgan, Aaron Tippin, Tracy Lawrence, Darryl Worley, John Anderson, and others to be announced. Deborah will be the spokesperson for the album and the first single released will be "This Is The Time", a song she co-wrote with Allen Shamblin.
